I am planning to try my hand at goldwork for the first time. What equipment would you say is essential? Do I need to buy anything which is not already included in this bauble kit?

You will need a 12″ wooden embroidery hoop , a selection of sewing needles to include a large eyed bodkin / tapestry needle to sink cord threads through to the underside of your work, sharp small embroidery scissors, A light box to transfer the design, tracing paper, pencil and golden coloured sewing thread to couch the cords in place.
