Experience working with T71 cord, and 1mm cord as you couch the design on to a contrasting and dramatic black fabric. Use applied check and purl wires along with chippings to create texture and light catching effects. Then add colour with satin stitch, and stem stitch. You will need a 12” wooden embroidery hoop, cotton sewing thread to match your cords, a selection of sewing needles to include a beading needle and a large eyed bodkin / tapestry needle for plunging cords.
